In Argentina, La Nacion reported that The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) maintained its estimate for Argentina’s 2024/25 soybean crop at 49 million tons.
The report also noted that the USDA also maintained its forecast for the South American country’s 2024/25 corn production at 50 million tons.
The report highlighted that Argentina is the world’s leading exporter of soybean oil and meal, and the third-largest exporter of corn. The data are part of the USDA’s April World Grain Supply and Demand Report, it added.
