In India, the Hindu Business Line reports US Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol exports to India reached 3.539 million barrels between January and September, averaging nearly 400,000 barrels monthly. These levels are far above the exports for 2022 and 2023 combined but similar to the same 9-month exports seen in 2020. Full year exports for 2025 are expected to surpass 2020, however, making it one of the US’s top three export destinations for ethanol.
