Two young girls and a man killed in explosion at Horizon Biofuels

In Nebraska, NBC News reports that two young girls waiting for their relative to finish his shift, as well as the relative himself, were killed in an explosion at the Horizon Biofuels plant in Fremont. Early analysis leads inspectors to think the fire was provoked by a wood dust explosion. The facility processes waste wood for animal bedding and pellets. Fire crews battled over the mangled building trying to put out the flames for more than 24 hours.
