Trump Administration pushes biofuels and oil industries to hammer out future policy together

In Washington, Reuters reports the Trump Administration has told the biofuels and petroleum industries to hash out their joint vision of the future of biofuels blending to make it easier for the administration to put it into place. Two meetings have already been held, including one the American Petroleum Institute hosted last week, with discussions already proving fruitful such as mutual agreement there should be a significant increase in the volumes for renewable diesel and biodiesel blending. Everything from blending levels, tax exemptions and small refinery exemptions are on the table.
