In Montana, the Montana Free Press reports that the Trump Administration has released the freeze on Calumet’s $782 million loan disbursement. Funds are expected to arrive this week after the tactical review by the administration found that the loan was in line with its priorities. The disbursement is part of an $1.67 billion Department of Energy loan guarantee for the Montana Renewables biodiesel plant in Great Falls. The Energy Infrastructure Reinvestment program which provides the loan guarantee is part of the Inflation Reduction Act.
