In India, the Economic Times reports that the country’s largest ethanol producer, TruAlt Energy, has been granted a license to become an oil marketing company which will allow it to market ethanol (E93), Bio-CNG, petrol, diesel, EV charging, and battery swapping facilities. The company plans to set up at least 100 fueling stations in cane sugarcane producing regions of Karnataka and Maharashtra in the first phase. Currently, the company holds about 7% ethanol market share in the company.
