In India, ChiniMandi reported that TruAlt Bioenergy Limited (TruAlt), one of India’s largest biofuels producers, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) to develop aSAF production facility in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The proposed 80,000 TPA facility will be located around the Srikakulam–Vizianagaram region of Andhra Pradesh.
Under the MoU, TruAlt Bioenergy will invest to establish an integrated ethanol-to-SAF manufacturing facility. The proposed plant is expected to create over 500 direct jobs and nearly 2,000 indirect jobs, catalyzing substantial economic growth across allied sectors and contributing to the region’s industrial expansion and employment generation.
