Anellotech’s Plas-TCat technology converts “unrecyclable” mixed plastic waste into circular light olefins and BTX aromatics. Commercial manufacturing at the TCat-8 facility began in August 2025, targeting 4,000 L/month of high-octane aromatics while achieving a 65% greenhouse gas reduction compared to fossil fuels. The company’s scaling roadmap moves from 200,000 kg/year at TCat-8 to a 200,000 MTA plant in the 2030s. Driven by California’s SB54 legislation, which creates a $500 million annual mitigation fund, Anellotech aims to solve flexible film recycling hurdles through catalytic conversion.
