The Digest’s 2025 Multi-Slide Guide to SunGas Renewables

SunGas deploys the proven UGAS® S1000 biomass gasification technology to transform forest residues into low- to negative-carbon fuels. The S1000 efficiently processes biomass to high-purity syngas, achieving greater than 97% overall carbon conversion. The flagship Beaver Lake Renewable Energy project, supported by C2X’s $100MM investment, is key to commercial scaling. Located in Louisiana, it will produce nominally 500 ktpa of green methanol by early 2029, sequestering ~1 MTPA of CO2. FID is expected in 2Q26, paving the way for subsequent advanced clean fuel projects.
