Ensyn focuses on the production of low-carbon, renewable fuels and chemicals from cellulosic biomass using its proprietary RTP® technology. Their business model involves building, owning, and operating facilities, with selected licensing. Ensyn has a history of continuous commercial production since 1989. A successful combustion trial of their renewable heating fuel was completed with Michelin, demonstrating over 80% lifecycle carbon emission reduction. They see scope for at least 200M gpy production capacity in the US and Canada.
