In Brazil, Safras & Mercado reported that the 2025/26 corn planting in Argentina already covers 59.2% of the estimated national area, according to the latest report from the Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange.
The report noted that 88% of the lots are rated between good and excellent, adding that water stress levels are minimal.
Nationally, 82% of the area has adequate to optimal humidity, it added. The Exchange highlights that the combination of good water conditions and timely planting improves the productive potential of this stage of the campaign.
