In Thailand, the Nation newspaper reports the government plans to start requiring 1% sustainable aviation fuel blending from next year which will ramp up to 8% over the following decade. By 2037, demand is expected to reach 675 million liters of SAF annually. With the road fleet transition to electric vehicles, domestic ethanol production is now double the current demand which is setting up an opportunity for ethanol-to-jet production and potential ATJ export as well.
