Taisei teams with Euglena for 50% HVO fuel for construction sites in Japan

In Japan, Taisei Corporation and Euglena Co., Ltd. have introduced HVO in light oil, which reduces CO 2 emissions by 51%. This will be the first of its kind in Japan to be introduced to a construction site for this fuel. Taisei Corporation is working on the Zero Carbon Construction, which aims to achieve net zero CO 2 emissions during construction, and is promoting the introduction of various alternative fuels for diesel fuel. The HVO51% mixed product introduced this time is a light oil substitute fuel developed by Euglena, which is a mixture of hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) with 51% of light oil.
