In South Korea, APAM Peru reports South Korean company Sun Comprehensive Energy has unveiled its recently patented design for a fueling vessel that can deliver multiple fuels. The bunker vessel can transport LNG, methanol, ammonia and hydrogen from a single ship: fuels that have very different densities and temperatures. Kang Pyeong-ho, chief executive of Sun Comprehensive Energy, said: “The platform technology that safely supplies all fuels from a single ship will become the standard for the shipping and shipbuilding industries in the future. This patent registration has laid the technical basis for domestic companies to compete in the global market.”
