In Brazil, Globo Rural reported that Brazil’s soybean harvest in 2025/26 is expected to reach an unprecedented volume of 182.2 million tons, according to an estimate by Agroconsult, which organizes the Harvest Rally, an expedition that travels through the country’s main producing regions.
According to the consultancy’s calculations, the national harvest should grow by more than 10 million tons compared to the previous cycle, thanks to the performance of crops in southern regions, such as Rio Grande do Sul, and also to the favorable climate for plant development.
“This harvest started differently from the others. Last year, at this same time, we already had productivity problems in Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, and Mato Grosso do Sul. I don’t remember a harvest starting with such a favorable situation as this one [2025/26],” said André Debastiani, coordinator of the Harvest Rally, in a press conference.
