In Argentina, Noticias Agropecuarias reported that Argentine grain sorghum planting is maintaining a steady pace at the start of the 2025/26 campaign, according to the latest survey by the Buenos Aires Cereal Exchange, which reported that the area planted up to last week reached 55.2% of the 900,000 hectares planned nationwide.
In the last two weeks, work has been concentrated mainly in the center of the agricultural area, where significant progress has been recorded in Córdoba, the North-Central region of Santa Fe and the Core regions, according to the report.
In these areas, the establishment of the crop is nearing completion, driven by favorable climatic conditions and adequate moisture availability in the soil profile, it added.
