Solaris to expand renewable energy portfolio with solar, floating solar and waste-to-energy projects

In India, Solar Quarter reported that Solaris is set to broaden its renewable energy footprint with upcoming projects that include solar with battery storage, floating solar, and waste-to-energy (WTE) initiatives, 

On the WTE front, President and CEO Jose Alfonso Miras revealed Solaris is considering entering the sixth round of GEAP, which is expected to include such projects. The company aims to leverage synergies with its real estate business in Cavite for garbage collection and conversion into energy, with plans to expand across the Philippines once operational confidence is established.
