In Bulgaria, Renewables Now reported that Switzerland-based SoHHytec SA is ready to invest around $577 million to implement various green hydrogen projects in the Indian state of Maharashtra, applying its technology that directly converts sunlight and water into green hydrogen, medical-grade oxygen, process heat and electricity.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government of Maharashtra for a strategic collaboration on the development of large-scale green hydrogen projects. The pact was signed at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
The report noted that SoHHytec said the proposed foreign direct investment (FDI) could support multiple facilities and more than 4,600 direct jobs over the coming years.
