In Slovenia, the Government of Slovenia said that the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development has issued a funding decision for the call for proposals Incentives for projects included in Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) Hydrogen. The strategic call for proposals will receive support from the European Regional Development Fund.
The call for proposals aims to unlock investments in the development of the European hydrogen value chain, including building hydrogen production capacities and hydrogen transport infrastructure and supporting the use of hydrogen in industry and transport.
The call for proposals makes a total of $23.4 million available.
The investment will support the development of advanced technologies such as large-scale electrolyzers and energy storage solutions, which will help reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels.
