In Saudi Arabia, King Salman International Airport Development Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Biofuel Ltd., a company specialized in collecting and refining oils and animal fats into B100 biodiesel, in line with the highest environmental standards. This agreement marks a pioneering step toward promoting environmental sustainability and reducing the project’s carbon footprint by supporting the use of biodiesel during the airport’s construction phase.
The Biofuel Company Limited is the first and only producer of standards biofuel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
