Salvador becomes first Brazilian airport to implement SAF

In Brazil, JornalCana reported that Salvador International Airport became the first in the country to operate commercial flights fueled by SAF.

The operation, which will run until December 2026, is the result of an initiative led by the Government of the State of Bahia  in partnership with local company Vibra.

SAF is supplied by BR Aviation, a Vibra business unit responsible for aircraft refueling services at over 90 Brazilian airports, the report added.
