In the UK, the Parliament said that members of the House of Lords begun their further examination of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Bill, in report stage on February 10.
The Sustainable Aviation Fuel Bill will introduce a revenue certainty mechanism to support the production of sustainable aviation fuel in the UK. The bill aims to do this by designating a government-owned counterparty to engage in contracts with SAF producers.
Report stage is an extra chance for members to closely scrutinize elements of the bill and make changes, the Parliament said.
