In India, Times of India reported that Sael Industries, an integrated renewable energy company, announced that it expects to procure 2 million tons of paddy waste this year and convert it into clean electricity through its fuel aggregator.
The firm operates 11 waste-to-energy (WTE) plants across Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, totaling 165 MW, according to the report.
