In Romania, Profit reports the Ministry of Energy has developed a draft amendment to several primary normative acts in the sector to regulate the production, transport and distribution of biomethane and its introduction into natural gas networks, including in order to counteract, to some extent, the future increase in heating gas for the population, driven by the introduction, from 2027, of the taxation of carbon emissions from the building sector, through the already famous CO2 tradable (ETS) certificates.
