In Spain, Repsol said it has reached a new milestone in its strategy to decarbonize transport, with 1,500 service stations—1,429 in Spain and 71 in Portugal—supplying Nexa Diesel, which is 100% renewable.
Currently, more than 40% of its service station network offers renewable fuel.
Valero Marín, Repsol’s General Manager of Customer Service, stated: “Reaching 1,500 stations supplying 100% renewable Nexa Diesel represents a key step forward in our strategy to decarbonize transportation.
Nexa Diesel is produced from renewable raw materials, and reduces the carbon footprint by up to 90% compared to the fossil fuel it replaces, Repsol said.
