In Brazil, a new analysis by Schneider Electric and consulting firm Systemiq foresees the creation of up to 760,000 new jobs in the bioenergy sector by 2030, placing Brazil as a global leader in renewable fuels. The report, entitled “Forming Brazil’s workforce for a fossil-free economy,” highlights the need to train and requalify 450,000 new professionals in automation, electrification and carbon traceability, and proposes a three-phase action plan that combines technical training, data integration between companies and government, and structural reforms in the educational field.
