In Australia, Sustainability Online reported that Australian airline Qantas has said that sustainability remains a ‘key priority’ for the airline group, adding that it has committed more than $65 million to sustainable aviation fuel and other decarbonisation projects.
The Australian carrier recently expanded its SAF uptake from Los Angeles, with a commitment to use more than 100 million liters of SAF over the next three years.
In its full-year results announcement, Qantas said that it also recently made an investment in ClimateTech Partners, a venture capital fund that supports climate-focused businesses and projects.
