August 4, 2025 |

In Canada (Quebec), Pyro Green‑Gas Inc., a subsidiary of PyroGenesis, has expanded its supply agreement for the Varennes Carbon Recycling (VCR) project by US $1.1 million, raising total involvement to US $3.6 million. The contract covers engineering and delivery of thermal swing adsorption (TSA) and nitrogen loop systems to dehydrate and purify oxygen for the VCR facility. The broader Varennes plant—led by Enerkem with partners Shell, Suncor, Proman and Investissement Québec—is expected to convert 200,000 t/y of non‑recyclable waste into advanced biofuels and chemicals, including 125,000 t/y of fuels. VCR aims to eliminate ~170,000 t CO/year, enabling low-carbon waste valorisation. — Source: PyroGenesis investor press release (GlobeNewswirePR Newswire+4GlobeNewswire+4Wikipedia+4
