Primax Colombia inks agreement with World Kinect

In Colombia, Las2Orillas reported that World Kinect and Primax Colombia have signed a strategic alliance to combine the strengths of both companies to offer efficient and sustainable solutions to airlines and other market players. The report noted that this agreement not only reinforces the commitment of both companies to innovation and sustainability, but could also mark the beginning of a new era in the supply of jet fuel in Colombia. The agreement includes the construction and adaptation of infrastructure in World Kinect supply depots, intended for the retail distribution of aviation fuels for Jet A-1 turbine engines. The expansions will be carried out at the terminals of Puente Aranda, in Bogotá; Rionegro, in Medellín; and Mancilla, in the municipality of Facatativá, in Cundinamarca. Both companies have stated their intention to promote the use of alternative fuels and reduce the carbon footprint associated with aviation operations. This includes the research and development of sustainable aviation fuels and the implementation of advanced technologies to optimize energy consumption.
