In Spain, Diario El Canal reports the Port of Barcelona presented last week its new Energy Transition Plan, the roadmap derived from its IV Strategic Plan that has set itself as a target the reduction of 85% of CO2 emissions by 2040. With an investment of 1.7 billion euros to that horizon, one of the ambitions of the enclosure is to consolidate itself as an “energy hub” through the production of green fuels, such as biomethane and methanol, to accelerate the establishment of green corridors such as cars that was announced in July with the port of Shanghai.
