In Bulgaria, Renewables Now reported that Poland’s Industrial Development Agency (ARP) together with three partners plans to build a hydrogen plant which will require an investment of $1.6-2.2 billion. The report stated that the hydrogen production facility will be probably in the southwestern province of Silesia. The first phase of the project, for which the ARP will invest $153 million, is to start next year. The agency plans to apply for funds from the European Hydrogen Bank. The ARP’s goal is to create a green hydrogen value chain, from its own technology, through production, to use in various sectors of the economy, the report added.
