Poland’s eco fund finances Eko Dolina biomethane plant with $27.5M

In Poland, the President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management recently took part in an event organized on the occasion of signing an agreement for co-financing the Eko Dolina investment. One of the most modern facilities in the country for the anaerobic processing of municipal bio-waste and energy generation in cogeneration from biogas will stand in Łężyce thanks to over 101 million PLN of co-financing from the Modernization Fund.

The total cost of the project “Construction of a methane fermentation plant for waste in Eko Dolina Sp. z o.o. in Łężyce” is over 140 million PLN.

The project will receive support in the form of grants of over PLN45 million and loans of over PLN55 million under the Priority Program 2.10 – Development of cogeneration based on municipal biogas.
