Pinnacle Marine’s 1,000 hour B100 trial ends successfully

In Singapore, Pinnacle Marine celebrated the successful completion of the 1,000-hour sea trial of President 100, operated by Prestige Ocean Pte Ltd, the first of its kind vessel powered entirely by 100% biodiesel made from renewable feedstock. Across 1,000 operational hours, the trial demonstrated that carbon neutral biofuels are not a distant ambition, but a viable and immediate solution for the maritime energy transition.
This achievement was made possible through the strong collaboration and shared commitment of its key partners:
• Weichai Singapore Pte Ltd, for engineering the robust biodiesel engine that powered every nautical mile.
• Maritime Energy & Sustainable Development Centre of Excellence (MESD), whose rigorous research and forthcoming report will provide critical empirical data to support industry-wide adoption.
