In the UK, SAF Investor reported that Phillips 66 has delivered UK produced SAF to British Airways., as part of a multi-year agreement. This is the first time that commercially made UK SAF has been used by an airline, according to the report. “Phillips 66 Humber Refinery is proud to supply British Airways with sustainable aviation fuel,” said Darren Cunningham, general manager of Humber Refinery and Phillips 66’s lead executive in the UK. “The strategic collaboration and supply agreement confirm each companies’ commitment to a lower-carbon future.” “Being the first airline to source sustainable aviation fuel produced at commercial scale in the U.K. is another breakthrough moment for us and the airline industry,” said Sean Doyle, British Airways’ chairman and chief executive.
