In Ireland, the Irish Times reports Phillips 66 is seeking a $1.74M judgment against Irish Biofuels Production Ltd. who has allegedly not paid for 8,900 metric tons of used cooking oil. The UCO was sold to the company in two tranches, the first of 5,000 tons in December 2023 with the remainder in March 2024. Phillips has sued the Irish biodiesel producer in Commercial Court, with the judgment expected in May. Some of the fuel had been paid for but the company defaulted on the rest, so P66 is trying to secure the missing payments.
