In Vietnam, The Investor reports that PetroVietnam officials have met with leaders from FS to discuss partnership for ethanol production and distribution ahead of the government’s new E10 blending mandate. PetroVietnam has restarted the Dung Quat Bio-Ethanol Plant with a capacity of 100 million liters per year, a project that received significant government funding but later became a white elephant project. The E10 mandate will be supplied by domestic production but also by a significant increase in imports. The company has also produced the country’s first sustainable aviation fuel.
