In Vietnam, Vietnam Plus reported that Petrolimex and Petrolimex Aviation have officially unveiled sustainable aviation fuel in Vietnam.
At the recent launch in Hanoi, Petrolimex Aviation also signed SAF offtake agreements with Vietjet and Associated Energy Group, LLC (AEG Fuels).
Petrolimex is the first enterprise in Vietnam to import synthetic blending components (SBC) derived from bio-based or renewable sources and to master SAF blending technology compliant with international standards EI 1533, ASTM D7566 and DEF STAN 91-091, as well as Vietnam’s TCVN 14414:2025, according to the report.
Petrolimex’s SAF has already been supplied and uplifted for domestic commercial flights, the report added.
