Paraguay to produce 11 million tons of soybeans in the 2025/26 cycle, USDA says

In Paraguay, Market Data reported that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) expected Paraguay’s soybean production to reach 11 million tons in the 2025/26 harvest.

Paraguay ranks sixth among the world’s largest soybean producers, according to data from the USDA with a production of 10.2 million tons in 2024. It also ranks third among soybean exporters, with approximately 6.8 million tons.   

The report also noted that the country’s Ministry of Agriculture noted that soybean cultivation area in Paraguay has remained relatively stable over the past five years, with an average planted area of ​​3.5 million hectares.
