Oswal–Greenzo JV to develop 5 MW green hydrogen plant at Indian port

In India, SolarQuarter reported that Oswal Greenzo Energies, a joint venture between Oswal Energies Limited and Greenzo Energy India Limited, has been awarded the contract to design, supply, install, test, and commission a 5 MW Green Hydrogen Plant at Deendayal Port, Kandla, under the Government of India’s Sagarmala Initiative.

Executed on an EPC basis, the facility includes provisions for future expansion up to 10 MW using common infrastructure. Once operational, it is expected to produce approximately 800 tons of green hydrogen annually, supporting clean energy adoption across port operations and the mobility sector.

Ratan Bokadia, Managing Director of Oswal Energies Limited, said, “Being part of India’s first port-led green hydrogen project is a proud moment for our company. It underscores our technical expertise, engineering capabilities, and execution strength in advanced hydrogen systems.”
