Orizon Biometano Jaboatão secures $43.25M refinancing from BNB

In Brazil, Orizon Valorização de Resíduos S.A. has signed a financing agreement between Orizon Biometano Jaboatão dos Guararapes Limitada  and Banco do Nordeste do Brasil in the amount of R$266.8 million at the cost of IPCA + 3.30% per year, considering the contractual performance bonus, with a term of 15 years, including a 3-year grace period on principal, and final maturity on December 15, 2039, andthe first disbursement of the aforementioned loan agreement in the amount of R$181 million which was intended to pay off Biometano Jaboatão’s bridging loans. Additionally, the company said that the implementation of the biomethane production unit at Ecoparque Jaboatão dos Guararapes is at an advanced stage, in line with the budget and schedule.
