In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports the White House’s Office of Management and Budget has completed its review of the proposed 45Z tax credit guidance and proposed changes for which a public comment period will be open in May. The American Coalition for Ethanol thinks the guidance may come out in February or March, however, despite the statement on the OMB’s website regarding the proposed public comment period, because of the strong support within Congress to get the tax credit in place quickly.
