In Japan, NTT DATA Corporation will start considering the joint development of FATHOPES ENERGY HOLDING PTE LTD and the Waste Oil Collection Support Application in Malaysia to expand the spread of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This application aims to solve the problems in the procurement of raw materials for SAF by enabling waste food oil emitters and collection companies to record the collection volume and location, automatically generate application documents, and support for certification, thereby solving the issues in the procurement of SAF raw materials, and improving the efficiency and traceability of collection operations.
Going forward, NTT DATA will contribute to the establishment of a stable SAF system with a view to expanding our business in Japan and overseas, and accelerate our efforts to achieve carbon neutrality, including the circular economy.
