In Spain, El Economista reports Naturgy has stepped on the accelerator to meet the objectives of its new 2025-2027 strategic plan. The company has signed an agreement with Bioeco Energías to join its major project to develop biomethane plants in Spain.
According to sources consulted by elEconomista.es, both companies have agreed to develop new facilities with a combined capacity to produce more than 500 GWh annually, bringing the company’s current development capacity to 3,000 GWh annually.
This figure means that the company has already achieved two-thirds of the target set in its business plan (4,500 GWh annually), for which it will invest up to 800 million euros.
