National Union of Corn Ethanol opens office in Brasília

In Brazil, Jornal da Cana reported that the National Union of Corn Ethanol (UNEM) opened its new office in Brasília on December 12, 2024.

The inauguration took place during the entity’s Board of Directors meeting this year.

Bruno Alves, responsible for Government Relations and Sustainability at UNEM, highlighted his satisfaction at concluding the year with goals achieved and preparation for the challenges of 2025, according to the report.

According to the National Supply Company (Conab), the 2024/25 harvest is expected to reach 7.2 billion liters, representing an increase of 22.1% compared to the previous season.
