In Spain, El Periodico de la Energia reported that Moeve has supplied a total of 18,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel in 2024 as part of the company’s various partnerships to accelerate the decarbonization of air transport.
Moeve already has alliances with groups such as Iberia, Binter, Vueling, Air Nostrum, TUI, Volotea, Wizz Air and Ethiad, which have voluntarily begun to incorporate its SAF in their flights to accelerate the decarbonization of air transport, with the aim of the sector having zero net emissions by 2050, according to the report.
In addition, the firm also contemplates within these alliances the development of new energy alternatives, such as renewable hydrogen and electrification for airline ground fleets, the report added.
