MEP slammed for collaborating with ethanol lobbyist on SAF question for EC

In Belgium, Politico reports an ethanol lobbyist made comments on a question a Member of European Parliament Jana Nagyová, of Patriots for Europe, submitted to the European Commission regarding Sustainable Aviation Fuel. A Czech journalist posted on social media photos of the question that was submitted that still had track changes listed by the lobbyist, and Politico saw another version of the document that also included such track changes. Although both the MEP and the lobbyist claim there was no wrong doing involved, it has heightened scrutiny on the relationship between lobbyists and lawmakers in the European Parliament.
