In Spain, Mobility Portal Europe reported that MADIC Group has taken a decisive step in its energy diversification strategy with the inauguration of its first hydrogen refueling station, located in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, north of Bordeaux.
The new facility has been designed as a hybrid space combining operational infrastructure, a technology laboratory and a training platform. Its aim is to support the development of hydrogen as a low-carbon energy vector, with a clear focus on real-world mobility and logistics applications, according to the report.
The infrastructure is designed to refuel a wide range of hydrogen vehicles, including passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, buses and heavy-duty freight transport, it added.
MADIC Group plans to use the site to train technical teams, industrial partners and other stakeholders involved in hydrogen projects.
