Luxaviation, Haffner Energy sign long-term SAF offtake deal

September 16, 2025 |

In Bulgaria, Renewables Now reported that France-based clean fuels company Haffner Energy and global business aircraft operator Luxaviation Group unveiled a non-exclusive 15-year sustainable aviation fuel offtake agreement in Europe.

The deal involves fixed SAF volume and price terms, the companies said. According to Haffner Energy’s CEO Philippe Haffner, it will significantly facilitate the financing of the company’s SAF projects in Europe.

Luxaviation and Haffner Energy’s SAF partnership started in June when Luxaviation signaled interest in SAF-focused entity SAF Zero, according to the report.

“This agreement marks a decisive move from vision to reality. For Luxaviation, securing long-term SAF supply is not only an investment in our operations – it is a commitment to our clients and to the industry’s future,” said Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group.
