Lifecycle Renewables to distribute UCO-based biodiesel in NYC

February 5, 2025 |

In New York state, Lifecycle Renewables announced a new distribution partnership with East Coast, a New York City provider of residential and commercial fuel deliveries, HVAC and mechanical services. Through this strategic partnership, Lifecycle expands its reach from New England to Metro New York, one of the most populated regions of the United States.

Truburn is derived from recycled vegetable cooking oil collected from restaurants and converted into heating oil. Compared to traditional heating oil, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 86% and is considered carbon neutral. Some of Boston’s most well-known restaurants sell their used cooking oil to Lifecycle Renewables, which is then converted to Truburn to heat commercial buildings and college campuses across the Northeast. Now commercial and residential buildings in NYC can buy Truburn.
