Koster’s biomethane plant inauguration opens up doors for six new methane-powered vehicles

July 2, 2025 |

In Germany, at the inauguration of the biomethane plant in San Nazzaro Sesia, KOSTER took a decisive step towards a completely sustainable energy supply chain. During the event, six new methane-powered vehicles were presented – four LNG and two CNG – dedicated to environmental logistics and integrated into the fleet of LOGTER, a company of the group.

The plant represents a true example of energy produced from organic waste, in line with the principles of the circular economy. Designed for the production of biomethane from FORSU, it allows organic waste to be transformed into clean energy, contributing significantly to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the valorization of environmental resources.
